とりアート／しゃんしゃん傘踊りステージが終演

2月22日、鳥取県「とりアート／しゃんしゃん傘踊りステージ」が無事に終演しました。

本イベントは、2025年11月～3ヶ月に渡り行った、鳥取県民が参加の総合的な文化・芸術の祭典。

新井風味は鳥取伝統のしゃんしゃん傘を使用したワークショップから振付、そしてステージ披露までの全てを担当。ステージはとりぎん文化会館梨花ホールで開催。

初回リハーサルを向かえるまでは、参加される方のレベルや思いなど様々と思い、様子を見ながらのスタートでしたが、なんと、感動と団結あふれるステージになりました。しゃんしゃん傘踊りの経験者と未経験の方とのバランスを考えた構成にしましたが「とても勉強になった」など、嬉しいお言葉をたくさんいただき、本当にホッとしています。

さらに、新井風味を以前から知っていて、傘踊りの参考にしていたという方も多かったと聞いてとても光栄で嬉しいです。

そして、今回アシスタントを担当した 新井風味メンバーのATSUとEBIRI-NAが ゲストパフォーマンスも披露。新井風味ならではの 映像 × 光る和傘・扇子の演出を特別バージョン「鳥取に恋して」をお届けしました。

また、運営の皆さまや劇場スタッフ、皆さまの温かいご対応にも感動し、数ある振付師の中から新井風味を選んでいただき、心より感謝申し上げます。

今回ご一緒した振付師の方々と交流できたこともとても嬉しく思います。

鳥取伝統のしゃんしゃん傘の踊りをもっと広めていきたい気持ちが強くなりました！

Tottori Prefecture’s “Tori Art / Shan Shan Umbrella Dance Stage” has successfully come to an end.

Until the first rehearsal, we weren’t sure about the participants’ different levels and motivations, so we began while carefully observing and adjusting.

But in the end, it became a stage filled with emotion and unity.

We created the choreography with a balance between experienced Shan Shan umbrella dancers and beginners. Hearing many kind comments such as “I learned so much” truly reassured us.

We were also honored and very happy to hear that many participants had known about ARAIFUMI beforehand and had used our umbrella dance as inspiration.

In addition, ARAIFUMI members ATSU and EBIRI-NA, who assisted this time, also performed as guest performers. They presented a special version performance, “Koi Suru Tottori (In Love with Tottori),” featuring Arai Fumi’s signature production: visual projections × glowing wagasa umbrellas and fans.

We were deeply touched by the warm support from the organizers and theater staff, and we sincerely appreciate being chosen among so many choreographers.

It was also a great pleasure to connect with the other choreographers involved in this project.

This experience made us want to share and promote Tottori’s traditional Shan Shan umbrella dance even more.
